Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry Abroad When My Stomach Was Rumbling

Being lost in a new country is always an adventure, but sometimes those adventures can take a turn for the worse when your stomach starts to growl. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement during exploring {aforeign land and forget about the most basic needs like food. This often leads to mood swings, which can cause some less than gracious behavior.

I've definitely learned this the hard way on my last trip abroad. One moment I was smiling about tasting a local delicacy, and the next I was arguing with my travel companions because I hadn't eaten in hours. It's not exactly a behavior I'm proud of, but it just goes to show that even the most outgoing traveler can fall prey to a ravenous monster when they're hungry.

So, if you ever find yourself abroad and starting to feel hangry, my advice is to fuel up. It might be the difference between having a memorable trip and one that ends with some awkward moments.
